This project involved writing sales copy for a fitness business aimed at convincing men and women to subscribe to a fitness program. The client wanted copy that addressed key pain points while showcasing expertise and creating trust.
The main challenge was crafting copy that connected with readers’ struggles—such as lack of energy, low confidence, holiday weight, post-pregnancy weight, or struggling to fit into old clothes—while keeping the tone friendly, relatable, and funny. At the same time, the copy needed to establish the client as a trusted fitness expert.
I used the client’s provided information to design a persuasive, reader-focused sales copy. Key elements included:
